SAGA Unveils Oceanfront Dining at Viking Sunset Studios in Bali

SAGA Restaurant & Bar has opened its doors at the Viking Sunset Studios on Beraban Beach in Tabanan, Bali, offering a new oceanfront dining and lifestyle experience. The venue blends Italian-Indonesian fusion cuisine with stunning views of the Indian Ocean, set against the backdrop of Bali’s distinctive black-sand coastline. Guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with options for lunch, sunset drinks, and dinner in an open-air setting.

The culinary offerings at SAGA are a unique fusion of Italian cooking techniques with Indonesian flavors and ingredients. Highlights from the menu include wood-fired dishes featuring Balinese sambal matah, handmade pasta paired with slow-braised rendang ragù, and locally sourced seafood enhanced with Mediterranean herbs and citrus. Complementing the dining experience is an open-air cocktail bar that serves artisanal spirits, tropical botanicals, and house-made infusions, perfect for any time of the day or evening.

A standout feature of SAGA is its expansive beachfront infinity pool, which provides guests with the option of underwater bar seating. This allows them to enjoy their drinks while soaking in the panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. Situated on Beraban Beach, known for its volcanic black sand and relative seclusion, SAGA is part of the Viking Sunset Studios complex, which uniquely combines film production facilities with a resort ambiance. According to Vivian Ikdayah, the venue manager, SAGA was designed to seamlessly integrate food, cocktails, and the natural beauty of Beraban Beach into one cohesive destination.

In addition to its dining offerings, SAGA serves an important role within the Viking Sunset Studios, providing dining and catering services for the film productions taking place at the complex. Viking Sunset Studios is home to Indonesia’s largest sound stage and supports a range of international and domestic film, television, and media projects. Located a short drive from Canggu, SAGA offers an alternative to the more crowded beach-club scenes, combining a tranquil dining experience with the unique coastal setting of the studio.

SAGA Restaurant & Bar is now welcoming guests for lunch, sunset drinks, and dinner, with reservations currently being accepted. The restaurant is part of the Viking Sunset Studios complex, a prominent beachfront film production resort in Tabanan, Bali, equipped with extensive production facilities for global media projects. Vivian Ikdayah serves as the contact point for further inquiries and reservations at SAGA Restaurant & Bar.
