Indonesia is setting its sights on INNOPROM 2026 as a strategic platform to forge investment, technology, and industrial partnerships within the Eurasian region. Scheduled to occur from July 6 to 9, 2026, in Yekaterinburg, Russia, the event will feature Indonesian companies and government officials highlighting opportunities aligned with the nation’s evolving industrial strategy. This effort is anchored by the New National Industrialization Strategy (SBIN), which aims to enhance Indonesia’s manufacturing sector through digitalization, energy transition, and adaptation to global supply chain changes, all while pursuing the long-term Golden Indonesia 2045 goals.
Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Indonesia’s Minister of Industry, emphasized that the strategy is crafted to facilitate partnerships through investment, technology transfer, and industrial capacity building. The SBIN outlines four key areas: boosting value-added production from natural resources, advancing industrial technology in line with the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap, promoting sustainable industrial practices, and strengthening industrial human resources.
Indonesia is preparing to showcase over 50 industrial firms at INNOPROM 2026, aiming to engage with potential Eurasian partners. The focus will be on industrial technology cooperation, with companies in machinery, automation, petrochemicals, and advanced materials exploring collaboration with Indonesian manufacturers. Investment in industrial parks and downstream processing, alongside supply-chain development, are also on the agenda. Additionally, Indonesia seeks partnerships around strategic minerals such as nickel, bauxite, copper, cobalt, and lithium, anticipating a rise in demand for processing technologies and materials engineering.
The AGRO pavilion will highlight the agricultural and food-processing sectors, promoting opportunities in food-processing technologies, logistics, and access to regional markets. With one of Southeast Asia’s largest manufacturing bases, Indonesia’s manufacturing value added reached about $265 billion, ranking it 13th globally. Non-oil and gas manufacturing exports totaled $147.9 billion as of August 2025, making up nearly 80% of the country’s total exports.
Tri Supondy, Director General of Industrial Resilience, Regional Development and International Industrial Access, stated that Indonesia’s presence at INNOPROM seeks to solidify its role as a long-term partner for Eurasian economies. The exhibition is anticipated to serve as a venue for Indonesian and Eurasian businesses to explore investment projects, technology transfers, and supply-chain partnerships across multiple manufacturing sectors.
